At Sweetgrass Psychiatry, we believe that in order to attain solid mental health, your physical wellness is equally important. We value holistic, individualized and integrated physical and mental treatment modalities. We work as a team to ensure your treatment needs are being addressed.

Meet our obesity medicine expert

BRITTANY ALBRIGHT MD, MPH, DABOM

A woman standing on a decorative bridge, with arms raised and mouth open in excitement, in a cityscape with tall buildings, including the tallest one in the world, the Burj Khalifa, in the background. The bridge has intricate metalwork, and the woman is dressed in black pants, a black jacket, and white sneakers.

Have you tried everything and just can’t keep the weight off? We hear you! You are not alone. Dr. Albright is board certified in obesity medicine. Treating excess adiposity became a priority when she saw the impact of excess weight on neuroinflammation, chronic diseases, confidence, and overall physical and mental wellness. Excess adiposity is well known to substantially contribute to mental health issues through neuroinflammation.

Obesity has multifactorial causes - much of our weight is determined by genetics. Therefore, we take the judgment out of care. Often, diet and exercise interventions are simply not enough.

Dr. Albright and the trained clinicians at Sweetgrass Psychiatry use a holistic, solution-focused, patient and centered approach to help patients build healthier lives.

At Sweetgrass Psychiatry, we firmly believe that obesity management should not be expensive and should be accessible to all. Therefore, Sweetgrass Psychiatry proudly accepts insurance for services related to weight and physical health.
