Sara Tick, LMFT, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Gender Studies from the honors college at Indiana University. She later completed her Master of Science in Family Therapy at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Her career began at an adolescent outpatient eating disorder clinic in Waltham, MA, where she gained invaluable experience using family-based treatment to support young people and their families through the challenges of eating disorders.  Now in Charleston, SC, Sara provides care to individuals, couples, and families, guiding them through life’s complexities and helping them grow and heal.

She specializes in working with clients navigating relationship challenges, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, life transitions, gender identity, and eating disorders using CBT and DBT.

Sara is committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care that supports her clients' personal growth and well-being.
