Dr. Cullen is double board-certified in adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. She graduated from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and completed her general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. While in residency she was a member of the Resident Education Committee and served as Chief fellow during her final year of child fellowship.

Since completing her training Dr. Cullen has worked with all ages from, preschoolers to geriatric, in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency psychiatry and telepsychiatry. She has instructed medical students, residents and fellows at both MUSC and USC in the clinical setting.

She enjoys working closely with her patients to develop collaborative treatment plans focusing on evidence-based therapeutic modalities and medication management when appropriate. Her interests include anxiety disorders, mood disorders and mindfulness-based practices.
