Dr. Delany is a board-certified psychiatrist in both General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry who brings deep clinical expertise and a thoughtful, steady presence to every patient and family she serves.
She completed her general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where she also served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Delany earned her MD from Temple University School of Medicine. She previously held a faculty appointment as an Assistant Professor in MUSC’s Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management services for children, adolescents, and their families.
In addition to joining Sweetgrass Psychiatry, Dr. Delany also serves as Service Chief of the Child Unit at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, one of the nation’s leading psychiatric hospitals. She is known for being exceptionally sharp, highly experienced, and deeply kind, pairing evidence-based care with a thoughtful, compassionate approach that helps patients feel seen, understood, and supported.
